As a member of IO MHV Management Committee, I declare herewith:
Involvement on Projects : Architectural Services Dept TCT071, TCT072 and TCT073 Term Contracts on Design & Build of Minor Works to Gov't & Subvented Properties
Status : Both shareholder and director, Citylink Design & Build Co Ltd, principle execution board for the aforesaid projects for Shui On Building Contractor Ltd
Term : Approx 4 years with immediate effect
Delare of Interest :
1. These contracts cover nearly the whole geographical boundary of Hong Kong while the value of works (estimates at HK$1,400~2,200millions) should perform a significant part of the maintenance sector. Thus majority of the local suppliers, subcontractors and a small portion of architectural, structural, E&M, geographical and landscaping consultancies should be involved in a principle management include my personal involvement.
2. I anticipated that some of the current contractors, suppliers and even consultancies of MHV will works for the same Projects while the management will be delivered by a board including my engagement.
3. I anticipated that some of the MHV residence and even io members will be embroilled in the execution of the aforesaid Contracts.
Tangible Action :
1. As implemented for 3mths already, I will not commit vote to the selection of subcontractor, supplier and consultancy in construction field accordingly.
2. However I will still apply my professional knowledge on the following areas:
2.1 Study and comment on the maintenance works include its scope and nature etc
2.2 Study and comment on the price and cost effectiveness of the works
2.3 Study and comment on the performance of the works include its subcontractor, supplier and consultancy etc
3. I will maintain absolute isolation on the aforesaid contracts and MHV matters as usual.
4. PSO pls ensure no name and information of the vendor will be released to me particularly before formal resolution on selection.
